Heavy Duty Turbine Electric Fans are suitable for most primary and auxiliary cooling applications found on many cars, trucks, buses, etc. A complete selection of heavy duty 12 and 24 volt models ranging in size up to 30" diameter as well as custom designed units are available for many types of heat exchanger applications including radiator, A/C condenser, charged air engine oil, hydraulic oil, transmission oil, etc. They are fully reversible (will push or pull air), allowing them to be installed in front of or behind the radiator or heat exchanger. Complete systems that will replace most conventional belt-driven or factory-installed electric fans are available. No other electric fans cover more applications, provide more air flow, come in larger diameters, or have a better mounting system.
Note: Units are not suitable to operate in explosive environments or aviation applications.
- Improves fuel economy (up to 15%) and performance
- operates off batteries – not engine horsepower.
- Reduces maintenance costs because it is thermostatically controlled and operates only when necessary. Other types of on-off fans are constantly turning, wearing out internal components of the fan hub.
- Field proven since 1980.
- Can meet most OEM applications.
- Increases vehicle output by eliminating the large horsepower requirements of belt-driven on-off fans.
- Provides better control of engine temperature – increasing motor life.
- Increases belt and water pump life.
- In most cases, costs less to install and maintain.
- Reduces vibration and noise since it is not attached to the motor.
- Eliminates fan alignment problems on vehicles, allowing greater flexibility in the design of cooling systems
- Allows easier access to front-mounted engine accessories.
- Universal – will fit many vehicles, reducing costly inventories.
- Provides better cooling at idle.
- Does not require lubrication.
- Reversible – will push or pull air.
- Does not require an air source for fan engagement.
- Easily mounts, using our telescopic or flat steel mounting hardware.
- Can be used for auxiliary cooling.
- Allows heat exchangers to be easily relocated.

TWO SYSTEMS TO CHOOSE FROM
EFE can supply single or low profile dual fan assemblies. Single fan assemblies are recommended for difficult cooling applications that require the maximum amount of air flow. They are quickly installed since only one unit is required.
|
|
EASY INSTALLATION
Most kits are fully assembled (Series 6000 and 6500 are semi-assembled) and contain fan blade, motor, steel fan shroud, and may be easily attached to the frame of the radiator by utilizing our unique telescopic mounting hardware. |

*Units may be installed diagonally across radiator core.
Series 3000-5500-6000-6500 models are also availiable without fan shroud
and telescopic mounting hardware.
Custom designed units are availiable if space limitations are encountered.
On some applications, it may be necessary to use more than the
recommended number of fans.
The above information is provided as a guide. The user assumes all
responsibility in the final selection and use of products.
